miele di millefiori e flora alpina
Tutti abbiamo in mente un prato alpino. Un
cielo tersissimo, erba verde smeraldo, alberi dalle fronde ricche, sullo
Fobello, Scopello, Alagna, Campertogno, Breia, Piode. Saliamo quasi
oltre i 1000 metri.
piccole ferite, eczemi, lentiggini, acne e foruncoli.
honig millefiori wiesenbluten
Thousand-flower Honey
We can all imagine an Alpine meadow. A terse sky,
emerald green grass, richly fronded trees, with a few cows in various
colours in the background. These are the places where, between July
and August, the bees feed undisturbed, and they are just like this,
maybe even more beautiful. The villages, situated in Valsesia, are called
Fobello, Scodello, Alagna, Campertogno, Breia and Piode. We are almost
1000 metres above sea level. The Valsesia valley borders on the Val
d’Aosta and seems perhaps even wilder but just as “natural”.
History with a capital ‘H’ has also passed through these
valleys. They still speak of the apostolic Fra Dolcino amidst these
wild peaks. The flowers of Alpine flora have remained the same. The
bees are not wild, but in rational swarms they offer the same honey
as then, natural and pure. Men may have changed since the Middle Ages,
but the mountain honey has not! It lowers blood pressure, reduces liver
congestion, keeps bacteria away. It is also invaluable for coughs, and
for external use. It is very good for small wounds, eczema, freckles,
acne and spots.
